Whatever you do, don't buy a newer E350/E450 with the 6.0L diesel. That engine is nothing but trouble according to my friend who is a mechanic for Ford. He says that is one reason why the engine is no longer available. It is an engine that should have never been.
Agreed, i think that is the conclusion we are all coming to. Everything i'm looking at is 30+, so i hear you there as well.
Completely agree, there are multiple generations of Ford diesel problems that i don't want to have to figure out. Hence my hesitation on Ford based rigs.. :)
