Every time I read a thread like this I go back and forth with my own thought process and never come to a finite conclusion why I bought a brand new Class C. Single, kids are grown and no toad for 2 1/2 years. However, I don't expect to be single forever or at least have aspirations of having a significant (RV) other. My sons do get out with me with friends from time to time and my 'new' toad will be set-up tomorrow. Sure, a TT and an upgraded tow vehicle would have been an easier facilitation, less dollars for insurance and maintenance as well. But, like a little kid, I had to have a Class C having worked my way up from camping off a motorcycle, PUPs and a HTT. As far as cost versus utility goes, one can only justify that to himself and maybe the bank! I have always believed you work hard and play harder. I LOVE my Sunseeker regardless of the negatives. I did not see myself in a Class A unless I hit the lottery. And with the toad in place and 5 more years on my extended warranty still in force, no reason to change my mind now! Carpe diem!
