Our 08 Ford Escape Hybrid tows and drives great, but they don't make the Escape Hybrid anymore.

we tow a 2012 Ford Focus automatic 4 down. has worked well for 30K miles so far.

2005 Honda Pilot AWD Auto Trans behind a 2007 Gulfstream Yellowstone 30 ft. class C. I stop every 150 to 200 miles and start honda and cycle thru the gears. No problems.

2010 Subaru Sedan. As Bobbo said, only manual transmission Subarus can be towed 4 down.

Trailers are preferred when you are towing over rutted or uneven dirt roads
