Cleaning the curtains in front window of coach

The front drapes or curtains are hanging with drape hooks. They need cleaning. Have you had good luck washing or do you dry clean. Do not want to ruin them, just clean and brighten up. 2003 HR End...

If they are pleated like ours, I filled the tub with warm water and mixed in 3 scoops of oxyclean powder and then rinsed them through by hand for about 20 minutes. Laid them on the table outside in the sun gently opened out so that the creases were nice and left it to dry. In our desert sun they were dry, clean and bright in a couple of hours.

I repeated it for all the day/night shades too.
