cleaning the top of your class c

When cleaning the top of your class c, do you only aim the hose down? Or is it ok to aim it sideways or up? Does the a/c need to be avoided?

I wonder where water goes when you're driving down the highway in a rain storm?

I'll bet it just about goes sideways around air vent covers, around refrigerator vent covers, and around air conditioner covers. :h

The water coming out of a hose is at a much higher pressure. And last I checked rainwater doesn't tend to go up. Get it?

At 60 mph going down the road rain pretty much goes everywhere.... including up with considerable force as it bounces off the roof and everything on it. I sincerely doubt any garden hose produces a 60 mph stream.

I use the ladder to climb on top, and have scrubbed it by hand but we also have a great RV/truck space at a local car wash with a platform on each side to get above the roof and I have sprayed it all over with detergent and rinse with no problems. Not sure how much I could reach from underneath--maybe just enough to get off some dust? Have not tried that.

After my roof was cleaned of the grime I use a self serve car wash in town that has side elevated walkways that I can use to spray off any debris or dirt accumulation.

I camp at the beach and salty ocean spray concerns me.

I got a ladder, went on top with a bucket, brush on a stick and hose and worked from the front to the rear.I sprayed anything and everything. I figure that

some of the rainstorms encountered going down the road at 50 mph are far worse than a hose bath. The air conditioner is sealed and the dirt in the coil

needs to be washed out anyway. I wouldn't use a direct intense spray on anything . The ladder on the rear is a joke, I wouldn't use that to climb on top.
