My personal preference is AGM deep cycle batteries. Yes, they are pricey, but you never have to worry about adding water, there is never any corrosion in the battery compartment, and when we sold our last motorhome after 9 years, our batteries were still doing fine.
To make wiring easy, I choose 6V or 12V based on what is in your coach now. That way you can just wire in the new batteries exactly the same as the current ones. Reduces the chance for error.
