1. The roof is not visible, the sidewalls are and coating them would look like poo poo.
2. I purchased the camper used a few years back and it was in rough condition when I bought it and instead of removing the old caulk and putting on new there were layer after layer of caulk added to the old seals. The old top has been damaged in several areas (Hairline cracks in the fiberglass) and it just makes sense to remove all the old caulk/material and put a single seamless covering over it while I redoo the installation of the Solar panels(4), TV Antenna replacement, and vent cover replacement(s).

This forum/post was not created to have people post comments as to whether or not I should do this or to add there opinions on the projects merit. It was created for comments on the products to use for this project and I greatly appreciate those that have added suggestions of that nature.

Although I haven't yet settled on a product I have narrowed the product line down by looking through some DYIs videos and a learn by my mistakes situation with a similar roof to mine. Evidently {Like I should be surprised} Winnie fiberglass roofs are different and you should not use Dicor products on them.

There are products specifically for coating fiberglass roofs, and that's what I'm looking into.

i "assume" you are only talking about redoing the seals, etc. not the entire roof. and not just slopping a bunch of "stuff" on it. remove old caulk if excessive and redo it

It has a fiberglass roof but the seals have been caulked over so many times I am going to have to remove all existing seal material. And I am planning on removing all other easily removable items to redo the roof (Vents, Antennae, Solar panels, etc...). Since I am going to be rehabbing the interior I want to make sure the exterior is weather tight first.
