coiling methods for 30 amp cord and fresh water hoses

Looked at that YouTube. Always wondered what the little figure-eight on one of our hoses was for. Seeing it, makes me think it's made to solve a problem that had to be invented to invent the solution.

I just coil the hoses and retain with an ordinary ball bungee.

I do not connect the hose ends - I believe it's better to give moisture a chance to escape.

MorRyde has mechanical reels. This is the less expensive one



And the more expensive one


I don't have the room to install either of those solutions.
