Colorado Ownership Tax
Anyone care to reveal what the Ownership Tax is running for plates on a late model $250K motorhome? Seems they gripe when you don't pay taxes, but they sure won't help you estimate what a vehicle...

It looks like I have to go through the specific county and they do have an online calculator, but its for cars, light trucks, and motorcycles and doesn't account for the 35,000 lb weight of an RV. Assuming a $250K truck (they are getting close), the ownership tax is $4,800. I wonder how much it changes when adding the weight.
ownership tax? what the heck is that? Is that instead of sales purchase tax? do u pay Ownership tax once or every year?
Ownership tax is annual and is in addition to the one time sales tax
geez sales tax,property tax,income tax,Medical insurance and now ownership tax
how do u guys manage with such a huge nut to crack?
