- DrewEExplorer IIOn the flip side, just because a company is still in business does not necessarily mean they will continue to supply parts for old products.
I have a friend who, a few years ago, managed to get a hole in the oil pan of her then eight year old Chevy Aveo. It turned out to be rather a big headache to get it fixed, as neither GM nor any aftermarket company had oil pans for sale. Eventually she managed to find a junkyard in Tennessee (I think) that had one and get it shipped to Vermont to get her car repaired. - BigRabbitManExplorer

This company in Eugene, OR purchased a lot/all of the Monaco parts. I have been in the store looking for other things and noted all of the Monaco parts. Monaco parts I verbally confirmed with them that they got them at the time of the transfer/closure.
As to my 40 year old coach, I have the fourth from the last one produced. To this point, I have been able find every part that I have needed or a modern substitute. Many parts were used on enough vehicles that they are still being made today. I just rebuilt the front end of my coach with new ball joints, tie rod ends, and pitman arm bushings. All available at local parts store and/or online. Coach drives and tracks like brand new! All hydraulic brakes parts are also available including the boosters.
I would also encourage any coach owner to join and support any user group that is available for your brand of coach. Many heads make for easy solving of problems. Just like this general interest site does. - S-n-LExplorerWe have that exact coach. Purchased in 2013. We have had no problem finding parts. Rev, the parent company has been great to deal with and has a wonderful phone tech support line.
- malexanderExplorerWhat if you buy off of craigslist and craiglist goes under? lol lol.
Sorry, I'm just having some fun.:):) - moishehExplorerAlthough for the most part everything is available some items may have been discontinued When Navistar bought the remnants of Monaco those idiots dumped the body molds in the trash. Moisheh - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerWe have a 2004 Country Coach who was sold to National and went out of business and we have never had a problem getting parts. Of course as a unit gets older it gets more difficult to find parts. Most of the problems we have had were not with Country Coach but with the other components made by other manufacturers.

It's easy enough to figure out why--people asking the question are unaware of the things you know. No doubt there was a time you were unaware of these things.
Farmer has been a member since 2007
Profile says he owns a 2006 Allegro bus
I would think he has owned it long enough to know almost everything except the shell body and interior walls
Was mfg by other suppliers
Fridge TV water pump heater motor Allison trans etc...
I understand that something who has never owned an RV might have these questions
But not somebody who already has an RV, especiallyy a class A - msmith1199Explorer IIThe only thing to worry about would be custom made items such as your front cap, end cap, and the plastic dash panels. All of those would have been made with molds by the motorhome manufacturer. My understanding is many of those molds have been sold to other companies who could still make the body parts if needed. But something to think about, is you really don't even need to worry about that. As long as you have insurance there is almost no damage that could come to those parts that would not be covered by insurance. So finding who has the molds and who can make a new end cap for you is all going to fall on your insurance company.
- IvylogExplorer IIIMonaco/Beaver/HR/Safari customer service is alive and very good being supported by the third owner of "Monaco". If in the closet there is not a list of most items with model and serial # you can call Monaco and they can supply it. I recently needed the model and serial # for one of my slide awnings... to order the correct part... my list is still in the closet. All of this info is still available for all of the various "Monacos".
Monacoers is a Yahoo group that has created a very good list of parts and where to buy them as other than body parts most everything else Monaco/HR did not make. - irishtom29Explorer
