I live on a sand hill in Florida also. We built an enclosed pole barn for the motorhome and boat, 28x48 feet. I compacted the area where the motorhome would live by running sprinklers on it for a week, put the poles in the ground about 4 feet deep, then poured 3500psi concrete with fiber, 6" thick on edges, and where the tires would run, 4 inches thick overall. We have never had a crack yet and it's been there since 2004. My motorhome weighs almost 40,000#'s
