- Executive45Explorer IIII bought a coach years ago from PPL in Houston. Easy transaction. I gave them a list of things I wanted fixed, they negotiated with the seller and we made a deal, ...for less than asking price....Dennis
- sealevel_ramExplorerSold two units (one MH and one trailer) and bought one MH at a local dealer who handles consignments.
Trust this dealer since he has done repairs and service for me also. He charges a flat fee for consignments. - crassterExplorer III think you can get good deals on those, but I always kind of like dealing with the original owner on their turf if you can. Otherwise I like dealing with a dealer that has a good reputation.
- rockhillmanorExplorer III sold 2 RV's on consignment. First of all you get to ask the previous owner questions if they have told the dealership they would talk to a potential buyer. IMHO that's a plus. I had a buyer want to know what I towed it with and the hitch set up I used on it. I ended up selling him my WD etc to clinch the deal.
