It does, but once you're out of the city it pretty well thins out until you get back into San Antonio. The Sunday drive I was referring to was without the 5'er until he knows where he needs to go with it. I make that drive all the time and am amazed how many dealers there are in the area.

My cousin and DH recently sold their TT at the PPL in Houston. Good experience, although getting the paperwork from the buyer's lender was slow, therefore their check was delayed. They have a "program" designed to tell you approx. when it should sell and for approx. amount. No idea what their commission is, but certainly worth a chat.

I would almost definitely drag the fiver down IH-35 to PPL in New Braunfels, consign it, and let them have their 10% cut. They do a very fast business, and I've seen "B"s fly off their lot before the rig even made it to the website.

May not make as much as a CL sale, but you don't get scammers and potential criminals at your door.

Several dealers will like come get the rig. Or he might know some folks in the area with similar rigs who could make the tow for him.

PPL makes their business model on selling consignment units. I would start with a call to them.

Consignment is a small part of most RV dealers business, and not really one that's very profitable or pursued.

Don't know who that may be. We bought our TT at Camper Clinic near Austin...call them and they may know. Also, PPL in Houston does consignment on a large scale.
