RV Consignment Dealers South Florid

I am considering selling my RV using a consignment RV dealer. As far as I know we do not have a dealer like PPL in Houston that supposedly does this as a main source of sales. Does anybody know of such a place in Florida that is South of Tampa or Orlando?

  • I decided to use Palm RV in Ft Myers. Took it to them mid February. Seem to be a good place to do business. Now I have to be patient. The listed price is where it should be.

Charlotte RV in Port Charlotte does consignments but I have heard some negative comments on them. There in a consignment dealer in either Fort Myers or N. Fort Myers on Rt 41 that has a good reputation however I cannot recall the name of the dealer. Sorry.

After a little searching could the name be Palm RV?

Due to the possibility of a RV being caught in a hurricane, I wouldn't buy one in that state. I'd try to find a dealer elsewhere.

With Respect Bumpy: I don't understand your "being caught " in a hurricane statement. The OP is selling, not buying. If a storm comes through when it is on the lot, that is what insurance is for.

Florida has not been hit by a hurricane in 8 years. In the same period Virginia has been hit three times. No place on the east coast of the U.S. is exempt from hurricanes.
