- When you hear about people buying for x% under y, it's typically because they don't fall in love with a particular unit. You make a low offer. If they don't accept, you move on to the next rig. It's very effective but doesn't work if you are stuck on that one special unit.
This is a great response. Why would you put a deposit on something you haven't agreed upon pricing? Normally a depost means you agree with the deal completely. You showed your hand. Bad move.
