Remember that to power a convection oven will require hookups or the running of a generator whenever you want to use if for anything.
Many folks - who otherwise have solar on their RV for most electical needs when drycamping - mention that when camping without hookups they need to run their generator only for a few short periods to run their microwave ovens to warm up food - while using their (quiet) propane ovens for baking.
However, with a convection oven these same folks when drycamping would need to not only run their loud generators for short periods warming food in their convection ovens, but also run their loud generators for long periods whenever baking something in that same convection oven.
What this means is that a microwave oven plus a propane gas oven offer a more versatile combination in case you might want to occasionally drycamp around others and/or outside generator hours for, say, evening pizza!
