Convection Ovens

Can I install a household type convection oven in my coach or will the bouncing of the rv be to hard on the oven?
  • On small Bs/Cs the convection ovens I noticed in the past that they would not put them up high in the cabinetry but would put them under the range where a gas oven went because too much heat in a smaller area.

  • We did just the opposite of what you're proposing. We liked the microwave/convection oven that came with our RV so much, we bought the exact same model for our home. You shouldn't have any problem.

X2; buy a unit designed for over-the-range use. We replaced the standard Sharp that most RV's seem to come with, with a GE Profile. Much better temperature control and built in racks that make it possible to cook more than one dish at a time.

  • That's all they are is household. They don't make it special for an RV.
  • The same, still going since 99. They are not made any different. Just cost more if you buy at a RV store.
  • Yes, One in my stick house is just like the one in the bus. Its does bounce around a bit, but still working.
