All good information here. Enjoyed the through diagnosis and conclusion. I only wish ALL posts were like this when the OP came back with the solution as well as the repair. Really helps others with similar situations.
For the OP. I just had a complete brake job done on my 2000 NRV SeaView, F53 chassis. Cost was about $1400 and the labor rate was $95/hr. So your in the ballpark. I was charged, I think, 12hrs plus parts. I also have owned this MH since new and put the cost of the repair into the costs of owning this beast. Since I do all my other repairs and maintenance I wasn't all that upset with the cost of the brakes. My cost of ownership for this behemoth is low due to the work I do on it. Since I'm the original and only owner, I know what has been done and will need to be done in the future.
