Coolmatic Portable Refrigerator/Freezer

I have an 06 Alfa See Ya with a Coolmatic portable refrigerator/freezer in the basement bay. We set it on the least cool setting and it stays at 28 degrees. You cannot use it as a refrigerator. Is there a way to reset it.

    I had never heard of a Coolmatic, but when I googled it this portable freezer was identified as a Dometic WAECO product. Perhaps you could research using that identifying brand name.

    I also have a portable freezer in my basement, but it is a Norcold brand. It can be set to either freeze or just cool. (I also built a box made from insulation foam that fits over the top,sides and one end to increase the efficiency and save my batteries when camping. It also keeps things a lot colder.)
