I think states vary on that.
You will still have a chassis that is a year older, and probably sat somewhere for awhile, maybe in the cold in Canada. Plus, there are usually updates in the newer chassis.
I would not pay the same price for a 2014 on a 2013 chassis, as a 2014 on a 2014 chassis.
