Cost paying someone for a oil change

I also recommend that you go to Speedo. They have always had the filter for my generator. You can watch and they do a good job. However, always know where your filters are. I had to show them the second fuel filter last time.

I go to Freightliner in Tolleson, AZ. $320 lube, oil, filters(fuel and oil). Plus chassis inspection, lights, tires, etc. pretty much go over the rig. They found an exhaust leak I probably would have missed. On tear down found turbo leaking on intake side. Then found leaking AC hose.
So this "oil change" was just over 6k. :)

Ditto Speedco.

Speedco now uses Baldwin filters, and their prices are actually very good. However it's always a good idea to bring a complete set of spare filters in case they don't have one or more in stock, which has been my experience more often than not.

Speedco or Petro truck stops great service and better prices than truck shops

They had Delo and all kinds of other oils. The only thing I didn't see (and didn't ask about) was Cat brand oil. I've put Delo in it the last couple of times so I'll just stick with that.

RE speedco I believe the standard filter they use is fleetguard but I know they ask me before if I want CAT filters ( I have a CAT) and if they have them will use them. As already stated they will install your filters if you bring them . And you also have a limited choice of oil . Rotella is the bulk choice but I saw last time you could chose Delo. They allow you to watch and in fact insist you be present and witness them torque the drain bolt back on the pan. In my case they have me wait until my turn and a lane is clear and head in the exit so the rear is over the service pit area they have me start and stop the engine when needed so they don't enter the coach and then I back out.
It's all they do they invite me to watch them and in fact help turning the key a couple times and are.very reasonable in price . It's the one thing on my motorhome I know can be done quickly and without hassle , unlike the dealers. I'm a fan.

I just took a drive over to the local Speedco and dropped in an talked to the manager. Yes they do motorhomes for midnightsadie. They quoted me a price of $250 total to service my Cat engine, change the fuel filters, and also service the generator. I didn't have my filter numbers with me but she said to call in advance with the numbers so they could make sure they had them in stock. She also said I could bring my own filters and they would deduct it from the price.

I think I already have a filter for the generator and I'll go buy a Caterpillar brand oil filter and bring those both in for the service. The brands they use are probably just as good, but I've always put the manufacturers brands on both so I'll just continue.

The place was nice and very clean. You bring your rig in and they service it while you wait. Freightliner would not do that for me. I've always had to drop it off one day and pick it up the next at Freightliner.
