Traveling to Creede going west from I-25. Taking hwy 160 then 149 into Creede. Will be in my 44ft DP towing my jeep liberty. Just curious what 160 and 149 is like.

Did you get the same problems with Mountain View RV Resort in Creede, CO as I did when it came to refunding the deposit?
They refused to refund my nearly $400 deposit claiming that their policy was no refunds within 60 days of the date of booking. This was never explained to me over the phone and the lady I spoke to said it was on their website - but I made my booking on the phone, not on the website!
Anyway, I am now forced to take further action against them to recover the money - I was so looking forward to visiting, but after this fiasco, no way!
I couldn't even get there as Hwy 160 is closed at the pass, traffic on 149 has to wait for an escort and the smoke is constant - and no-one knows the health effects of breathing in that smoke as it will be in the air constantly - let alone how impregnated the fabric of the RV is going to get when in it for any length of time.
I feel sorry for them as a business - but their attitude towards their customers leaves a lot to be desired.
