Take the marine Highway from Bellingham. Get off at the various ports and stay awhile in a hotel-we had motorhome. Take a car or rent one when there. Not expensive and great way to see the whole area up close on a leisurely trip that you choose the terms. Denali-take the bus trip to the end of the park-8 to 11 hrs of very interesting trip. Take a glacier cruise somewhere. Enjoy.
