I tow a 2012 Honda CRV with a brake buddy. I made and installed a disconnect switch for the ACC fuse, which is the radio, clock etc. Then I ran a separate line from the battery (of the CRV) to plug the Brake Buddy in. I don't have a charge line from the motorhome and have towed well over 8 hours with no problems. I do however start the CRV at the end of everyday and run through the gears and let the motor run for 5 or 10 minutes..
