Cummins ISC oil pressure at idle

Question

The motorhome I'm ready to pull the trigger on has a Cummins ISC engine and It only has 10 lbs of oil pressure at idle. Is this normal?It seems awfully low. The engine has 25000 miles on it.

should be 15 and above, but it could be the gauge or sending unit. There is a lot of info about the sending units being bad.

Cummins told me that pressure at idle is ok at 10 pounds. Gauge error could be 10% plus or minus and the same for the sender unit. My ISC runs 10 pounds at idle

completely normal, nothing new for a cummins. been that way for yrs when the oil is hot.

With our ISC when oil temp is normal my pressure is 24 psi at idle, according to my Silverleaf monitor.

The oil pressure is very low at idle, 10 psi or under
