Cummins question
Been looking at used DP coaches for a bit, to get an idea about who has what and which models we should be narrowing our search down to.
Most of the units have Cummins engines (which is not a problem or a surprise).
Are all Cummins engines painted red?
Found a 2005 Mountain Aire with the ISL 400 and the engine was black. Does that mean anything? The years we are looking at are 2004-2006, so most of the units have the ISL 400. Also, was there a recall on the ISL 400 in those years? If so how do you know if the unit you are looking at was affected and repaired? I'm thinking engine ser. # sent to Cummins, but not sure.
