- dc7432ExplorerThe radio is a Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD. I checked no switch on the dash and it's running off the coach battery I have a battery disconnect that shuts it off however it turns off the frig as well.
Looking for a simple way to turn off without pulling the unit out thanks - Kit_CarsonExplorer

On my 2008 Winnebago Outlook I have a switch mounted on dash panel just below steering wheel to select HOUSE or CHASSIS. If I select HOUSE the display stays on all time. With CHASSIS the display goes off when the motor is turned off. Maybe yours is the same way. Happy travels....
Have a new Thor 14' 31E. Is it normal that the dash radio stays on all the time on coach battery and when plugged in. The screen says "off" but the screen is illuminated and shows the time. - ryanw821ExplorerIf you are just annoyed by the display, most will have an option to turn off the clock display when "off" in the menus, others if you press and hold the power button for a few seconds it will shut the display off.
If you are worried about power draw, about the only option is to install a master power switch on it, or pull its fuse.
Also it would help to know what brand radio you have in there, a model would be helpful too, but that's not always so easy to find. - dc7432ExplorerSo I can never turn off it's always on?
- indyzmikeExplorerYes, totally normal. Dash radio is fed from coach battery because it is the radio for the coach, even though it is in the dash.
