Dash Radio Aerial

Does any one know where I may obtain a radio aerial for the front of my MH? It is the rubber one right up on the roof in the front. It is for a Winnebago Adventurer 2006 35A. For the dash radio.
I ordered one form the Winnebago dealer, however the one that came in does not match the base on my coach. I need one about 12-14 inch long with a male end so as to screw onto my base. I sure don't want to have to take the base off from the roof and replace base and every thing. I have tried 2 Audio shops and even got one that some of the new cars have. None of them work. Any ideas??

  • Most car part shops carry replacements, all you need to do is match the base to get a reasonable signal.
  • My Newmar has three rubber antennas and two broke off from hitting low bridges. The antenna manufacturers no longer make a replacement top. I went to a Harley motorcycle dealer and got two that would adapt to my bases.
  • I'd give Winnebago Service Administration Dept, (800)-537-1885, a call and tell them which model and year Winnebago you own and tell them what happened and why it doesn't work. You might just find yourself getting a brand new one in the mail.

When I had my Tiffin, they sent me a brand new one.
  • Check out Walmart. Checkers, Auto Zone et, I do not remember specifically about Winnebago, but all the above have a replacement antenna that sounds like what you describe that fits Newmar coaches.
