The price for a Davco appears to be around $200. For this amount of money I can get approximately 100,000 miles purchasing the Cummins recommended filters and then changing them both once a year (4 years of use). There is no need for me to get dirty, smelly or pay some one to install the Davco in place of my factory installed Cummins preferred primary filter. I will stick with the system Cummins is comfortable with. I might be interested in a Davco if I was running 100,000 plus miles a year. On an RV I just do not see the return on investment.
