every promaster conversion i have seen has this 2000 pound limit.

remember the 5100 pound tow limit on the empty promaster is with an empty van.

a conversion in effect fills up the van-combine that with a 6 cylinder-good as it is- and the max is 2000 pounds.

a promaster conversion is not the one to get if you want to tow.
