Desk in Slideout

I don't know if this will work for your desk, but I used a cantilever swing arm so my chair is parallel to my desk.

Thanks for the link Big Katuna, it didn't come with a desk chair but I'll look onto that as an option. I also like the idea of taking a regular chair and cutting down two of the legs. I just thought of mounting something like a swivel chair to the side of the desk that can store underneath. I don't know if I trust the strength of the desk though.

You mean a chair won't fit because there is a 1 inch bump on the floor so it won't go under easy or the chair sits at an angle? If that is the case how about a chair with four wood legs and cut an inch off the front legs?

Ours was in a slideout, also. We just used one of the dining chairs.

We don't use a chair, we use an height adjustable padded stool left over from my wife's photography days. She used a few of them when posing groups and needed different heights. It also doubles as an end table for my recliner. I'm sure there must be office chairs that adjust.

We use a really nice padded dining chair we picked up at a garage sale. No arms but is very comfortable to use for long periods of time at the desk.

Before that we used a folding chair... the heavy duty white resin kind sold at Walmart or Costco Or Sam's Or..... We kept it in the shower when not in use or for travel.

how 'bout adding a boat seat cushion to the chair? that should raise it up enough.

It came with a Swivel Euro style chair. Is that gone?

Our 38n has the love seat, I wish I had the desk and swivel. Also a table and chairs instead of dinette
