Wow, I must really be green. We've owned our current camper only 4 months now. It's the first camper we had with slides. I cracked my head on the front bed-room closet slide when it was sitting on the dealer's showroom floor! I just had to crawl around and explore everything, crawled out from under it and forgot about the slide and ... KO-WHACK!
You know, they break bottles of champagne on the bows of ships when they launch them. Well, when you own an RV, it's never really christened until you've busted your head on one of the slides!
