Diesel fuel Addetives
I have an 03 Caterpillar 303 diesel engine.

No additives needed. TWO exceptions.
If storing diesel fuel (make sure tank if full when storing to reduce condensation in the tank) for more than two months in the summer or three months in the winter, add a BIOCIDE. Available at any marine store, as diesel powered boats have the same issue.

With the junk fuel we have today you need something.
JR - When we got algae in the fuel tank the Freightliner mechanic put in SeaFoam and recommended that we do so on a regular basis. Keeps the diesel fuel and tank clean.

- What about additives for the Duramax/Diesel. Some say you need to put them in the fuel to keep the injectors clean? Ours is a 2003.
