spend the extra and buy diesel. running ac in hot weather requires extended generator run time if dry camping. 90-100 gal diesel tank (75 gal usable to generator due to short pick up tube so you can still drive to fuel stop) will run a generator ( 1/2 to 3/4 gal per hour usage with ac on)3-5 DAYS or more if needed. Son in law just bought new Winnie vue with LP (against my advice Ha) He can run ac at football tail gate for 7-10 HOURS before needing LP. Granted if all you do is fire the generator to make coffee etc then LP would work but I think resale would be far better on a quiet diesel over LP. I sat in hospital parking lot for 5 days in Omaha in August with generator on continuously for ac and burned less than 30 gal diesel. Buy what you are comfortable with but this has been my experience. good luck tom
