Diesel in Maritimes - not allowed to fuel at truck stops?

OK was just reading my Big Rigs Best Bets as I'm heading down to Nova Scotia in a couple of weeks. In the section on fuel stops they say that that in the Maritimes you need a commercial permit to ...

In Nova Scotia all Truck stops are full service gas stations, they have diesel for RVs who do not own a comersial card at the regular pumps. Let me know your travels or areas and I can make recommendations on where I stop.
