Rodz, the OP is certainly having problems out of the norm. If what you are saying is true, then the diesel service facilities would be bombarded.
Now, I agree anything 'new' added to an engine does give potential for an item that might need extra servicing or could fail.
Our 2008 Monaco Dynasty had almost 70,000 miles and we owned it from new for 7.5 yrs. Not one problem with the DPF system. It regenerated normally during out ownership.
I have been to the Prevost service center several time with our new coach and they do not have an over abundance of broken-down coaches. Certainly there is not word that the DEF and DPF systems are total failures.
