My big beef is the fact, other than we just don't have $11,000 laying around, is that there was no warning, nothing to alert me that we were having a problem. An engine with 33,000 miles on it requiring $11,000 worth of repairs is crazy and Cummins should have to stand behind their product. It was evidently poor design, not to mention there are no instructions or precautions listed anywhere.
Go pickup the motorhome and take it home, I hope you have a place at your home to park it, than go to google and YouTube and learn as much as you can and do all or most of the repairs that others say it might need than test drive it, if it still has some problems call a mobile diesel repair guy.
Sorry for your troubles, this is why I bought a gas so I could do most repairs myself and any done at a shop would always be half what a diesel would cost.
