You need to check out the main electric panel at your daughters home to see what can be added. If there is not room for a 50 amp double breaker, maybe a 30 amp 120 breaker will work. If the panel is already full, you still may be able to piggyback another breaker box next to the main panel to get you what you need. Of course, if they are renting the house, the landlord may not want you changing the wiring.
In any case, there are adapters available to enable you to get some type of power, even if it is only 120 volts. If that is the case, you just have to manage your power loads so you don't pop the breaker.
I forgot to mention that if you cannot add a 30 or 50 amp receptacle to your daughters house, you can run extension cords to two 120 outlets, on different breakers, and power a heater, microwave, etc. Not the ideal solution but certainly workable. This would give you approximately 30-40 amps to use.
