One item I noticed hasn't been mentioned is your inverter/charger (if installed like must DPs) needs to be set for the shore power you are using. If not set for a 15 or 20 amp hookup, the charger may initially pull too much power to charge the batteries and pop the power breaker, especially if you have other 120V draws. Setting the inverter to only use five amps will normally alleviate this problem and still get your batteries charged. When we are on a 15/20 amp line we normally set the charger to 5 amps and the water heater and reefer (if absorption type) to propane. This will greatly reduce the draw on the power and leave more available for other items.
