If things had worked out differently, we might have ended up as owners of an early 1990s Beaver Patriot Charleston DP. It was very short for a DP, 30 or 32 feet. It was a beautiful coach, but the dealer was asking almost 2.5x blue book and wouldn't compromise. It sat on his lot for nigh-on 3 years and he sold it just before the dealership went bankrupt.
Sure, it would probably had some pitch/bounce issues. I found out about short DPs when I was a transit driver and we had some 29' DP coaches.
