We've had both and prefer the table/chairs for the following reasons:
1) More seating flexibility in the ability to move the chairs around,
2) The table has the ability to extent for additional seating,
3) Chairs are more comfortable by providing the option to be closer or further away from the table and you do not need to climb out of them,
4) Looks and feels more like home, whereas the booth always felt like we were eating in a diner and
5) We now have space out of the traffic path for the fur kids food bowls.
Although the booth provided some storage and could be folded down for additional sleeping, these are features are something that we personally do not require.

Our feelings exactly ... last trailer was a booth, this one a table and chairs that suit our lifestyle much better ... - J-RoosterExplorerI prefer a booth in my coach and a booth when I'm eating in a restaurant! I don't care to sit in a chair unless it's a Lazy Boy!

When the kids were young a booth dinette worked fine. Now that there are just two of us, we prefer the freestanding table and chairs in our current coach. It all depends on your particular needs.
My exact answer, word for word. Good one.
Scott - mockturtleExplorer IIMaybe it depends on your size. :) My preference is a booth. As has been noted, more storage and an extra bed. I also find a booth as comfortable as a chair and more cozy.

LOML and I prefer the dinette. It works better as a sewing table for her. - outdoorloversExplorerI prefer booth - additional storage, sleeping for little ones if needed, and we find our booth very comfortable and quite roomy.

storage, belted seating, sleeping, ILL take the booth.
Me too! - GjacExplorer IIII think if I had a large MH with plenty of storage and other places to sleep for the Gkids I would like a table and chairs. However currently in a 33 ft MH or shorter I would want a booth for storage and sleeping. Also if you are not to large around the middle a booth is OK to get into and out of.
- ncrowleyExplorer IIWe prefer a table and chairs. When we were looking for a coach, that was a requirement. I like the flexibility. I am not a fan of sliding in and out of booths.
