I don't remember the serial #'s range, but the engines were "recalled" because of a wrist pin issue. Cummins did not repair the engines, but added a sensor that will derate the engine, and slow it down, if a failure is imminent? The thinking is/was that if the engine was past 20K miles it was OK.
