I believe the adapters you are looking for are B-Band. I had DirecTV send me three of them and have used them for four years with an HR-22 and an HR-24. I recently bought a King Flex automatic antenna. The Flex does not receive DirecTV in HD. I tried the Flex with two DirecTV boxes and found that the directions for the Flex were incorrect. I was told not to use the B-Band adapters with the Flex but got no picture when I tried. Adding the adapters brought me a nice, clear if SD picture. If DirecTV will not send you free adapters buy them from Amazon.
