If you do have a DVR and move around, DNS is great because you don't have channel number changes in each new area. With DNS all network channels stay the same regardless of where you move. Set up your dish and your DVR is happy with no reprogramming of your favorite network programs.
The only thing I had to get used to was one morning, I was in Florida, was the weather report said to expect snow and temps in the low teens. That caught my attention for a second until I remembered I was listening to New York locals.
