As long as you are not trying to use a Genie/Client or an H25 receiver than you don't need to do anything special. Just hook up the receiver to the coax from the antenna, point the antenna per instructions and you should be good to go. You will need to go through the Repeat Satellite Setup and set the receiver up with an 18" round antenna and multiswitch (not SWM).
You cannot get any DirecTV HD programming but you will get most all of the DirecTV channels. They will just be in SD.
