DirecTV on my old dish/LNB
I have a 10 year old Winegard crank up satellite dish setup in my motorhome. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to use my 6 month old home receiver/DVR with my old dish? Can't seem to get a straight answer from DirecTV.

Newer receivers do not work. If you know the model number of your antenna, there is a Directv receiver compatibility list on the www.winegard.com web site.
I had a new receiver in my house that I wanted to take back and forth with us when we traveled and it would not work, had to activate an older receiver and worked fine.- I called DirecTV but just got passed from dept to dept with no one answering the basic question. Of course, they tried to upsell me additional services at every turn...

- You cannot use Directv receiver on a Dish satellite dish LNB, but not sure you were clear, is the crank up antenna a DISH or Directv?
