Disney via I-75

Hi all and Happy New Year.
We normally go to Disney via, I-95, I-4. However, this year we are going right down I-75. I am driving a '09 Monaco Dynasty 45'(tag) and pulling a Jeep.
My question is, once I leave I-75 what is my best route?
I have seen the turnpike-429; 301; 27 or I-75 to, I-4 and back track. If the turnpike-429 do you know what the cost would be?
Thank you
Bill
  • Here's what I got charged:

Transponder X1 on 11/23/2014 12:04:01 PM at Independence (M) lane 09D Agency OOCEA with 02 axles. TTOL ($1.37)
Transponder X2 on 11/23/2014 12:03:59 PM at Independence (M) lane 09D Agency OOCEA with 06 axles. TTOL ($3.00)
Transponder X1 on 11/23/2014 12:29:41 PM at Leesburg lane 10D Agency Turnpike District with 02 axles. TTOL ($2.85)
Transponder X2 on 11/23/2014 12:29:38 PM at Leesburg lane 10D Agency Turnpike District with 05 axles. TTOL ($11.40)

Looks like they think my motorhome has five or six axles.
  • X2 on I75 to Turpike to 429 to Western Way. 429 has been dead all the times we have gone when I4 has been gridlock. Also Western Way is always dead while geting off I4 at Lake Buena Vista (cant remember the actual exit, it is before Epcot Center) and going past Downtown Disney is always gridlock around Downtown Disney. Also, if you look to the left as you get on 429 from the Turnpike you can see some of the taller features of Disney in the distance.

The easiest way would be I-75 - Turnpike - 429 - Western Way to Disney. We would generally take the Turnpike - 27 - south to 192 then to World Drive to get the experience of coming in on World Drive with all the Disney characters. Also more chances of stocking up with supplies before arriving.
I believe the turnpike toll from 75 to 27 was about $4-$5 (4axles/MH plus toad), so I would just guess that it would be less than $20 to 429.
Don't even think about 75 to I-4, too far out of the way, even 429 to I4 is going past Disney.

What he said. I did the reverse on the way out a few months ago. They charged me for 5 axles $11.40 plus an additional 2 axles at $2.85.

I guess I'll be calling them tomorrow to fix the billing screwup.

Turnpike to I-4 $15 or $12 to 429 plus $5 on it for 5 axles.
