While that is fine, remember your vehicle must meet the laws/standards in any state you drive in.
Yes, there is reciprocity for driver's licenses, but not for what can legally be operated in a state.
And, in today's litigious environment, if you are in an accident, expect the other guy's lawyer to insist on verifying that your vehicle is operating within the laws/regulations or they will certainly bring that up in any law suit.
