Bathroom door latches when shut so it stays shut. Bedroom door latches both open and shut but more secure when latched in the open position so it stays open. Don't want those doors swinging free while moving.
Can't imagine the need to see all the way to the back of the coach. There is no rear window.
Our first coach had a rear window but no interior rearview mirror so it wasn't like you could look behind from the drivers position.
If the salesman's lips are moving then you can bet money the salesman doesn't know what he is talking about. They seem to be trained that if they don't know the answer then blurt out the first thing that pops into their mind.
Travel with the doors in whatever position works best for you!
