We always washed our roof.... and then kept going downward.
Same here - DSDP_DonExplorerWe're very dry in Southern California, but dust and dirt accumulates and then the morning dew makes it stick. I wash the roof about every 2-3 months (fiberglass) and wax it twice a year.
I just washed it yesterday and waxed one side of the coach. In my younger days, I could wash and wax the entire coach in a day. It now takes me two or three days. - Kayteg1Explorer III blow the leaves before rain season start, or I have to really scrub the roof later.
We have oaks here and the fallen leaves with water make huge brown stains.
The rubber roof on my present camper will not let the gray stains to come off, but I am fine with that. - ValkyriebushExplorer IIYes, Murphy's soap oil only, TPO roof. RV wash and wax service twice a year in Yuma.
- OasisbobExplorerI wash my rig twice a year and always wash the roof. Just makes sense. Good time to inspect and whatever comes off the roof goes down the sides somewhere so yes
- JoeHExplorer IIII have a fiberglass roof and wash it 2-3 times a year. After washing, I apply Optimum spray wax. It has UV inhibitors. I tried a paste wax, but my roof has non-skid areas and it's a real pain to paste wax the non-skid.
- -Gramps-ExplorerI was it every time I wash the coach. I use Blue Coral car wash or if it has been awhile and it is a bit more dirty than usual I use Murphy's Oil Soap. I follow up by coating the roof with Murphy's Oil Squirt and Mop...solid surface cleaner/sealer. I also use that for a quick clean up of the roof as well. Keeps it from getting caulky and makes it shine.

My roof gets washed every time I wash the rest of the coach. If I don't I keep getting white streaks down the sides. Some times the coach get washed maybe 2 or 3 times in the summer.
Ditto,
If I don't wash the roof, a few days after washing the coach white streaks happen from the morning dew. It is very noticeable on my coach due to the paint scheme.
